The school has decided to absorb the cost of applicable VAT on tuition fees and not pass it on to the parents.
We would reduce the tuition fee suitably so that after levying applicable VAT on it, the tuition fee for Spring and Summer Terms 2025 remains same as it was for the Autumn Term 2024.
The school would fully absorb VAT on tuition fees. But we would levy applicable VAT on non-tuition fees as required by the legislation.
Absorbing the VAT on tuition fees is one way we are investing in the future of our pupils and our school, while also providing our families with a level of stability to minimise disruption during this time of economic uncertainty.
Global Schools Group and Heath House have a strong record of providing outstanding pastoral care alongside an exceptional academic education. Our priority is to continue providing this and every decision we make is done so in the interest of our community and in line with Global Schools Group’s commitment to help where it can.
At present, we are committed to absorbing the VAT until the end of this school year and our intent to absorb it in future as well subject to favourable business performance, macroeconomic conditions and Government policies.
We intend to maintain fee increases in subsequent academic years in line with the historical trends, but we’ll take decisions considering various factors such as business performance, macroeconomic conditions and Government’s policies affecting the independent school sector directly or indirectly.
Going forward, there will be an additional and compulsory charge, of £300 per child per term for school meals. We have made a concerted effort to keep the school meal fees as reasonable as possible as a reflection of our commitment to the parent community and our pupils.
Yes, the decision to not pass on additional cost of VAT to parents will be applied to all existing and new pupils to Heath House.
